SIFE team organizes ‘Entrepreneur’s Day’ workshop
The award-winning UW-Green Bay SIFE team (Students In Free Enterprise) is at it again. They are organizing an “Entrepreneur’s Day” seminar/workshop for Monday (April 27) at 5 p.m. in Mary Ann Cofrin Hall, Room 208. So far, the students have arranged for a panel featuring:
• Jack Leduc of LeDuc Properties LLC;
• Paul Willems of Willems Marketing Inc.;
• Mohammad Rashid, CFO of Hometown Bank and former CFO of Affinity Health Inc.; and
• State Rep. Jim Soletski (who will address state assistance to small businesses).
Student organizers say the workshop is open to students, staff, faculty, and community members who may like the chance to meet with the speakers individually and ask them questions about starting their own company. While not necessary, it would be helpful if anyone interested in the workshop drops an e-mail to Sean Luck at lucksm17@uwgb.edu to indicate interest or to receive answers to questions about the event.
