UW-Green Bay student killed in traffic accident
On Tuesday afternoon (April 20), Whitney Radder, a first-year student from Kiel, died in a traffic accident on U.S. 41 in the village of Howard. Radder was leaning toward a career in education and was a mentor for the Phuture Phoenix program, working with students at Franklin Middle School. Radder had recently been initiated into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Interim Dean of Students Brenda Amenson-Hill shared the news in a campuswide email earlier today, and advised students and others of the availability of counseling services, if desired. Funeral arrangements, when available, will be posted online along with a photograph of Radder.
