News flash: Nair to retire
No, that’s not a typo. The entirely ageless Prof. Ganga Nair of Natural and Applied Sciences is retiring after 40 years of dedication to UW-Green Bay. Already distributed to employees but repeated here for the benefit of the record and our off-campus readers, we make note that his going-away reception is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, in the Natural and Applied Sciences Office, ES 317.

Also, with no slight intended to mathematics lecturer Gary Wardall (although face it — at only 25 years he’s a piker, longevity-wise, next to Nair) we note additionally that Wardall’s sendoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, also in ES 317.
