Congratulations to Julio Reyes, standout jazz man

Congratulations are in order for Julio Reyes, a student musician with the UW-Green Bay Vocal Jazz, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Bands, who participated in the UW-Eau Claire Jazz Festival last Friday. He performed two selections, “Donna Lee” and “St. Thomas,” and received “Outstanding Soloist” accolades in the category of vocal jazz music. If the name is familiar, Reyes and his father were featured in a story last month about the Jazz Ensembles concert here on campus.
