On the move: Outreach and Adult Access migrates to library plaza
The Division of Outreach and Adult Access will soon be located on the Plaza Level of the Cofrin Library in space formerly occupied by the Phoenix Bookstore and UW Credit Union. The staffs of Outreach and Extension and Adult Degree Programs will be moving on Wednesday (April 15), and will likely be out of phone and e-mail contact for most of the day. However, it is expected the departments will be fully operational by Thursday morning (April 16).
Programs together at last
The Office of Outreach and Extension has been located on the fourth floor of Wood Hall since 1995. MAC Hall’s third floor has been home for Adult Degree since the building opened in 2001. The two program areas, along with the Small Business Development Center (which is located off-campus in the Business Assistance Center on the west side of Green Bay), were combined to form the Division of Outreach and Adult Access in 2004. Within the context of UW-Green Bay’s mission to serve as “an intellectual, cultural and economic resource” for students and the community, the Division of Outreach and Adult Access, in collaboration with the faculty and community partners, “builds bridges to the community through lifelong learning and continuing education programs and services.”
