Bartell and Zapf to lead talk on war, deployment, family relationships
“Does War Influence Personal Relationships? Coping when Loved Ones are Deployed” is the program this Wednesday (April 8) at UW-Green Bay. Dr. Denise Bartell and Dr. Jennifer Zapf of Human Development and psychology will lead the session, open to all, from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. in Phoenix Room A of the Union. Do you know someone who is going to war, is there, or has returned? Come listen to a panel of veterans, veterans’ family members and faculty who work with relationships and children, as they discuss ways to cope. The event ties in with this year’s campuswide Common Theme of “Waging War, Waging Peace.”
