International program brings Egyptian artist to UW-Green Bay

Folks at UW-Green Bay and in the larger community will have several great opportunities to connect with a visiting artist this week, as contemporary Egyptian artist Mohamed Abla visits campus. Events include a screening and discussion of the documentary film “The Square,” which follows six revolutionaries during the Egyptian revolution; as well as lecture events and a Saturday (April 5) off-campus open house and potluck. Abla’s visit is part of the International Visiting Scholars Program of UW-Green Bay and St. Norbert College. All events are free and open to the public; those with questions can contact Lawton Gallery Curator Stephen Perkins at 465-2916 or perkinss@uwgb.edu. Read more.
