IEI has new ‘Innovation Insights’ seminar for students
The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (IEI) will be holding a three-session seminar titled “Innovation Insights,” for any students interested in someday starting their own business or understanding the innovation process. This three-week course covers the fundamentals of the innovation process. Attendees will gain insights into what innovation is, why it is important as well as how world-class companies create new products and services. Certificates will be awarded at the end of the seminar.
The seminar will cover the following:
• Session 1 – Introduction to Innovation: Intellectual Property Basics
• Session 2 – The role of research and workshop kickoff
• Session 3 – Hands on innovation workshop
Space is limited to 12 participants. Preference will be given to junior and seniors, but the seminar is open for all students to apply. RSVP to Paul Lemens at lemensp@uwgb.edu or call ext. 2691.
