Building a network of supportive women is essential to a sense of strong community and belonging. A support system allows women to feel understood and validated in their experiences. Join the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership in-person or virtually in May for “Rising Together: Caffeinated Conversations” to cultivate that support system and further discuss “Creating Community.”

This “Caffeinated Conversation” will take place in-person on Tuesday, May 14, 8-9:30 a.m. at Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region, 4455 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton. Catch it virtually, Thursday, May 16, 8-9:30 a.m. Learn more and register on our website. Members are free. Nonmembers pay a nominal fee.

It’s vital we talk about what women can learn from each other’s experiences and how we can support each other’s professional growth and development. A strong network of women in the workplace can lead to increased opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing and mutual support. A robust network of women in the workplace can also help challenge gender biases, break down barriers and advocate for gender equality and diversity in the organizational culture. Fostering a community of women in the workplace can inspire and empower future generations of women, creating a positive ripple effect that extends beyond individual careers.
