Tournament week opens tonight for Phoenix women at Kress

The top-seeded Green Bay women’s basketball team (25-2) begins its quest for the 2015 Horizon League Tournament title and an automatic NCAA bid when it hosts No. 8 seed Milwaukee (10-19) at the Kress Center tonight in a quarterfinal game tipping off at 7 p.m. If Coach Kevin Borseth’s team wins, they’ll host the semifinals and play either Youngstown or Detroit at 7:30 p.m. Friday for a chance to advance to Sunday’s 2 p.m. title game.
