Green Bay men await bid after falling in Horizon League tourney

Green Bay, seeded No. 3 in the 2010 Horizon League men’s basketball tournament, never led and fell to seventh-seeded Detroit by a 62-53 final score on Friday night in second-round action at Hinkle Fieldhouse, Indianapolis. The 21-12 Phoenix will now have to wait until Sunday (March 14) to see if they get an at-large bid to the NIT or one of the two other post-season tournaments, whose acronyms escape us at present.
