UW-Green Bay student wins first place at WBA Student Awards

UW-Green Bay student Kyle Malzhan (Communication) took first place in the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association’s Student Awards for the Excellence – Television Sports reporting category. His winning story was “Sandy Cohen’s Journey to UWGB,” which was produced in the Communication 302: News Reporting and Writing class taught by Senior Lecturer Danielle Bina (Communication). Awards were handed out on Saturday, Mar. 2, 2019 at the WBA seminar luncheon in Madison.
