Phoenix men have shot at conference championship Saturday

What a tremendous year for Tod Kowalczyk’s men’s basketball team, 22-8 overall and 13-4 in the Horizon League after last night’s win at Detroit. Green Bay has clinched at least the No. 2 seed for the league tourney and a bye to the semifinals. With a Phoenix win at Wright State and a Cleveland State win at Butler on the regular season’s final day Saturday (Feb. 28) the Horizon League title and the post-season tournament would come to Green Bay.
