Woman injured in traffic mishap has campus ties

Green Bay police have identified the woman hit by a garbage truck Monday morning as 49-year-old Green Bay resident Diane Moreau-Stodola. She was reportedly walking to work when she was struck at the intersection of Monroe and Pine streets. Moreau-Stodola received a bachelor’s from UW-Green Bay in 1982 and a master’s in 1986. She has worked as a public health nutritionist for the state and has been both a guest lecturer and ad hoc instructor for dietetics and nutrition courses at UW-Green Bay. Moreau-Stodola was reported in serious condition at St. Vincent Hospital.
