Chili pro takes home the trophy

More than 70 people sampled and savored a variety of chilies at the 16th annual Chili Cook-Off on campus Monday. Fazli Ademi, executive chef for Sodexo Campus Dining, took top chili honors for his chili titled “Fazli’s Fantastic Superstar Chili.” This is the first year University Dining took the coveted chili bowl award. UW-Green Bay Counseling and Health placed second with their Fire in the Hole Chili, followed by Sweet Baby Bits & Bytes submitted by Christine Kocourek. Rounding out the entries was Grant Winslow and his very spicy Outlaw Chili. The chili event helped kick off a week of Frost Fest activities. To learn more about Frost Fest, click here.
