Getting WWHEL rolling at UW-Green Bay


WWHEL is the organization Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership. There will be a brown-bag informational session this Thursday (Feb. 2) from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room on the second level of the University Union. The agenda includes:

• An overview of the October conference
• Ideas to introduce and activate WWHEL at UW-Green Bay
• Possibilities for a women’s-leadership book group and panel discussion, a mentoring program, and applications for leadership training programs (many listed on the website, www.wwhel.org)
• An assessment of leadership training needs and professional development opportunities
• Possible participation in the WWHEL regional event April 19.
