Progress made on IEI
UW-Green Bay has been working on ways to build upon its strengths so it can better serve the region in a rapidly changing economic environment. Through the development of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, announced in fall, the University will continue its commitments to community engagement, interdisciplinary study and problem solving, Chancellor Ward said at Convocation Wednesday (Jan. 21). He said the IEI will look to develop and support innovative businesses that will create good-paying jobs, potentially created and filled by UW-Green Bay graduates. Paul Lemens will direct the new institute.
