It’s National Thank a Mentor Day

Phuture Phoenix has observed “National Thank a Mentor Day” with a message from program co-founders Ginny Riopelle and Cyndie Shepard to the long list of Phuture Phoenix Mentors who contributed to the program in fall 2012. “We wanted to write to you to personally thank you and let you know how important your involvement is in the lives of the children you have supported…” the message said. “… You may never see the results of your hard work with these students. They may graduate, enroll in a trade school, community college or university and become a valuable employee in a job they truly enjoy. But please know that your caring support is something that those students will never forget. You will always be remembered…”
