Service set for Peter and Jane Dorschel

Friends and family are asked to gather at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 9 to 11 a.m. this Friday (Jan. 11) when a joint memorial service will be held for Peter and Jane Dorschel. Peter, the longtime Green Bay businessman for whom the UW-Green Bay natatorium is named, died Sunday at the age of 99. Jane passed away in May 2011. The couple was quite active in community affairs and supported UW-Green Bay swimming and diving and the institution’s capital campaign and Kress Center project.  For a full obituary, see the Press-Gazette.
