Ocariz has best finish in school history

UW-Green Bay cross country skier Santiago Ocariz finished 18th of 151 competitors Monday in the men’s 15K freestyle at the U.S. Cross Country National Ski Championships being held outside Anchorage, Alaska. It’s the highest finish by any skier in school history and he was the top finisher in the college division. Ocariz, a senior from Spooner, is one of three Phoenix skiers at the national competition. Carolyn Freeman and Lindsey Marshall had solid performances in the 10K state race. Read more about the Phoenix skiers.
