Dale: Voter ID law unlikely to be overturned

Action 2 News on Tuesday (Dec. 13) turned to UW-Green Bay Prof. Tim Dale for some insight into a lawsuit over voter ID. The ACLU has filed the suit on behalf of more than a dozen Wisconsin residents, including three Lawrence University students, charging that the state’s voter ID law is unconstitutional. But the group will be fighting an uphill battle, Dale said, noting that tougher voter ID laws have not been overturned in other states.
