Manitowoc Campus Lifelong Learning Institute classes receive publicity
Fall 2019 marks the inaugural semester of UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus’ Lifelong Learning Institute classes aimed at helping adults who are retired or about to retire learn something new while making new friends with similarly inquisitive minds. Even though this is the first semester of this program, it has already begun to receive attention from outside the community.
The Wisconsin State Journal recently published an article about Barb Bundy-Jost, who taught Baby Boomers from the Lifelong Learning Institute about aluminum Christmas trees. Her collection, now sitting at 80 trees, is estimated to be worth more than $100,000. This is just one of the many classes offered as part of the Lifelong Learning Institute.
