In an editorial on Sunday (Dec. 5), the Green Bay Press-Gazette praised the recent civility statement made by UW System President Kevin Reilly and all 14 UW chancellors. At the same time, the paper said, “it is deeply unfortunate such a message was necessary in the first place.” UW-Green Bay Chancellor Thomas Harden is quoted in the piece as saying, “Civility is an issue in a lot of places, (even) in cases where it falls short of violence or graffiti.” Read more.
