UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. and chair of Marketing & Management, Vallari Chandna (Business Administration) recently spoke to WalletHub about Black Friday shopping strategies from a consumer standpoint. She offers insights and practical advice: “Read the deals carefully – is the final price after a mail-in-rebate? Is it the previous model of a game console or a model with less storage space? Does that big screen TV’s price make sense even after the delivery and installation cost? Additionally, if you see the same price across stores, then compare return policies, see where you may get more reward points, see which store is offering additional gifts on a purchase or even consider which one will have the shorter checkout line.” Read more here.
