UW-Green Bay student teacher evaluations
Several states including Wisconsin are part of a new pilot program for licensing teachers. UW-Madison, UW-Eau Claire and Alverno College are the three schools participating in the program, which emphasizes performance over knowledge. While UW-Green Bay is not part of the pilot program, Prof. Tim Kaufman, chair of the Professional Program in Education, told the Green Bay Press-Gazette the University “already uses performance-based assessments and videotaped classroom performances to evaluate student teachers.” For more, click on this link.
