Editorial: Explanation about releasing sexual assault info ‘makes sense’

The decision by University police to not release information about an alleged sexual assault “makes sense given the nature of what allegedly took place,” according to an editorial in the Green Bay Press-Gazette today (Thursday, Nov. 4). University police chief Randy Christopher says information was not released right away because the woman knew her alleged attackers and “there was no reason to believe the campus community was in danger.” Read the entire editorial.
