Greener path is expected
When the new president takes office in January, expect a different course in energy policy from that followed by the Bush administration, experts told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Prof. Mike Kraft was among those experts. He told the paper that Republican candidate Sen. John McCain was indeed a “maverick” in his party in terms of being out front on climate issues. He added that Democrat candidate Sen. Barack Obama’s plan to create “green collar” jobs in energy efficiency and renewable energy could benefit Wisconsin. Read more.
