UW-Green Bay, Marinette campus to hold public sale of surplus items
GREEN BAY (WLUK) — What could not be repurposed or relocated after the closing of UW-Green Bay’s Marinette campus, will be up for public sale.
The UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus will hold a public sale on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to sell surplus campus items.
Following the public sale, remaining items will be available for donation to community non-profit organizations with pick-up by appointment between Nov. 11 – Dec. 1, 2024. After Dec. 1, all remaining items will be disposed.
The sale will be held in the Main Building and includes the following items:
- Office furniture (Chairs, desks, tables, file cabinets, chair mats)
- Office Supplies
- Science Equipment
- Clothing
- Games
- Potting/Garden Supplies
- Miscellaneous
Proceeds from sale will benefit the Theatre on the Bay Program at the Bayshore Arts Center
Over the last six months, university staff from all UW-Green Bay campus locations have assessed, evaluated and relocated useable items to different campus locations. Per state statutes, the next step in the process is a public sale.
