Live from campus: Good Day Wisconsin features Food Day
UW-Green Bay’s Food Day will be in the local media spotlight Monday (Oct. 20), when Fox 11’s Good Day Wisconsin goes live from campus for four morning segments. Reporter Pauleen Le will speak with student Food Day organizers about the goals of Monday’s events, the issues they raise and the lineup of offerings for students, faculty, staff and the community. Airing live from the Mauthe Center on campus, the segments will run at approximately 5:45, 6:45, 7:15 and 8:15 a.m. Tune in or set those DVRs — or better yet, come to the Mauthe for the No Waste Breakfast, which runs from 7:30-10 a.m. This free event treats attendees to a “recycled” breakfast of perfectly good local food that would otherwise go to waste. For more on that event and the rest of the Food Day activities — including the event keynote, from renowned Chef Michel Nischan — check out our news release. If you miss the segments Monday, or just want to check them out again, they’ll be posted to the Good Day Wisconsin website.
