This is Phuture Phoenix week – one wave is past and another coming. We had a visit by nearly 1,000 fifth-graders from Green Bay on Tuesday, and another 500 from outlying communities are expected on Thursday. On Tuesday First Lady Jessica Doyle again made an appearance. Also, a delegation from UW-Eau Claire attended Phuture Phoenix Day to get a first-hand look at how we do it. About 275 UW-Green Bay students serve as volunteers for the popular program. See Press-Gazette coverage. You can also scan the TV-2 site for their coverage of Tuesday’s festivities (try the “Featured Videos” column).
