UW-Green Bay commits to community partnership with new downtown sign | WLUK

The partnership aims to advance innovation and entrepreneurship in the Green Bay community, particularly involving UW-Green Bay business students.

“For a long time, the university has wanted to have a visible presence downtown, get students, faculty, staff interacting more-regularly with the business community down here,” said Matthew Dornbush, UW-Green Bay Dean of the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business.

Dornbush views the sign as a public statement of the school’s commitment to building relationships with local businesses.

President/CEO of the Greater Green Bay Chamber Laurie Radke says the partnership will allow students to connect to industry and engage in downtown, preparing them for their careers after graduation.

The Greater Green Bay Chamber says the partnership has been in the works for over five years.
