Separating the sexes in public schools

UW-Green Bay education professor Steven Kimball offered his take on gender specific classrooms in elementary and middle schools. An article in the Green Bay Press-Gazette brought attention to separate boys and girls classes in Pulaski and Green Bay. Kimball says he likes the idea because “you can see differences in the ways girls and boys learn, and these types of classes support those differences.” Read the entire article.
