Griffin review: Dishing, dissing — and plenty that’s not fit for print

Nothing was off limits during Kathy Griffin’s hard-working Thursday night set at the Weidner Center — although as reviewer Kendra Meinert noted, much of what was said was also not fit for print. The brash comedienne covered topics from Miley Cyrus to “Sharknado” and Aaron Rodgers during her two-hour show, proudly admitting her “threshold for inappropriate things is too high,” Meinert said in a review posted Friday (Sept. 13) to the Green Bay Press-Gazette website. Griffin’s performance marked the official beginning of the Weidner’s 2013-14 Performing Arts Season, and brought with it all the dissing and dishing audiences have come to expect, Meinert said.
