WFRV: T-shirt makes a statement about furloughs
A la the “got milk?” advertising campaign that started in the mid-1990s, The Phoenix Bookstore has new shirts that make a statement with the phrase “got furlough?”
“We’re a little uptight with the furloughs, so lets have a little fun with it,” Bookstore Director Patrick Sorelle told WFRV.
The shirts may not go over well with all affected employees, but the bookstore acted in good fun, observed Communications Director Christopher Sampson. He described it as a “laugh-so-you-don’t-cry type of thing.”
