Jones offers perspective for story on proposed GB schools grade changes

Admissions’ Jennifer Jones offered some perspective Monday (July 14) for an NBC 26 news story on proposed changes to the Green Bay School District’s grading system. The district is considering adding plus and minus grades to a framework that currently allows only full letter grades, saying it may even the playing field for students who are applying for college. “When I just get an A, I don’t know if they’re on the high end of that A or the low end of that A,” said Jones, assistant director of Admissions for marketing, media and recruitment. “The pluses and minuses will help us get a better picture of exactly that student’s performance.” Full story.
