Returning adults initiative (‘Return to the U’) garners local attention

We told you recently about an innovative new program, “Return to the U,” that encourages adults to come back and finish their degrees. This partnership between UW-Green Bay and Fox Valley Technical College kicked off in earnest earlier this month as officials sent 3,500 letters to people who have earned some credits at UWGB — but who, for one reason or another, didn’t complete their degrees. “Return to the U” helps prospective students assess their readiness to come back, along with providing tools — such as alumni mentors — to ease the transition.
