Future UW-Green Bay student among top winners of U.S. Presidential Scholar Award

Future UW-Green Bay business student Dylon Pokorny of Waupun High School has been selected as Wisconsin’s top male recipient of the U.S. Presidential Scholar in Career and Technical Education award according to USAgNet.com. Pokorny has served as president of his FFA chapter during the past year. He has also won the State FFA Proficiency Award for Specialty Animal Production in 2015 for his honey bee business, and will earn another top Proficiency this year in the area of Agriculture Communications. In addition, he is a finalists for the Wisconsin FFA Star in Agribusiness Award, which will be presented during the Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison next month. He will be attending UW-Green Bay in the fall.
