Grads, former professor inspire futuristic Green Bay home
Two UW-Green Bay grads and a well-known professor emeritus are the inspiration behind one of Green Bay’s most distinctive homes, featured Saturday (May 5) in the Press-Gazette’s “A is for Architecture” series. Craig and Julie Nothstine’s Bay Settlement Road home looks like something out of the futuristic cartoon series, “The Jetsons,” featuring bright-yellow bands designed to represent a slot-car racing track. Craig Nothstine ’85 is a businessman who earned his Communications and the Arts degree here, and his wife Julie ’84 is a Human Development grad. UW-Green Bay Prof. Emeritus David Damkoehler helped get the project started, according to the story. Read more, and check out a cool photo gallery.
