Press-Gazette: UW-Green Bay would take ‘extra hit’ on budget

According to a weekend article in the Green Bay Press-Gazette, UW-Green Bay, like other UW campuses, will “take an extra hit” under Governor’s Walker’s budget repair bill and budget proposal. The article points out that since most of the employees on campus are paid by the state government, the savings in benefits under the budget repair bill would go to the state. Under the proposed budget, UW-Green Bay would also receive an 11% cut in institutional funding from the state. For more, read the article here.
