Phoenix women one away from 18-0

A 69-64 win over Butler Saturday leaves the UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team one victory shy of its third-ever perfect run through league play. The Phoenix is 17-0 in the Horizon League with just one game left—Saturday afternoon at home against rival UW-Milwaukee (tipoff is at 2 p.m.). The Phoenix is 25-3 overall and 15-1 on the road this season, the lone loss coming at DePaul on Dec. 29. That game has since started a 17-game winning streak for UW-Green Bay, which has already clinched the regular season league championship and a No. 1 seed for the Horizon League tournament.
