GREEN BAY – Tickets for Bob Dylan’s first performance in Green Bay in 24 years went on sale Friday morning and quickly disappeared.

The event is listed as sold out on the TicketStar website. A search just before noon Friday for the VIP ticket packages, which were listed as “almost gone” on the site, turned up no tickets.

When does Bob Dylan play in Green Bay?

The Nobel Prize-winning singer-songwriter will perform at 8 p.m. April 6 in Cofrin Family Hall at The Weidner on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus.

When do tickets go on sale for the Dylan concert in Green Bay?

Ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office.

Three different VIP ticket packages will also be offered: Front Row, Gold Hot Seat and Silver Hot Seat. Each includes a commemorative ticket, collectible laminate and a merchandise item created exclusively for package purchasers.

Tickets in the first 10 rows will be available at will call only on the day of show.

How much do Dylan tickets cost?

Tickets for The Weidner performance are $77.75, $105 and $168.50 through TicketStar. Various VIP ticket packages are also available, including one for $698.50, plus fees, that includes a front-row ticket.

Are there any restrictions?

The concert will be a phone-free experience. Upon arrival, patrons’ phones and recording devices will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out by security.
