NCAAs within reach for Phoenix men

“For the first time in 13 years, the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay men’s basketball team has a legitimate chance to qualify for the NCAA tournament,” writes Press-Gazette sports editor Mike Vandermause. The Phoenix would likely need to win the tournament to get in, but if it doesn’t, a trip to the NIT is another possibility for post-season play. Read more.

TV, radio coverage of Butler clash
“This is going to be the biggest game of my career,” senior guard Ryan Tillema told the Press-Gazette. The Phoenix scored more than 80 points in each of its last three wins and hasn’t lost since a 68-59 setback at Butler on Jan. 22. Tipoff is 7:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast on WACY (Channel 32) and WDUZ (107.5 FM and 1400 AM). Here’s a preview.
