Other UW (and UWGB) faculty join discussion on diversity, online learning
In our last issue we linked to a Post-Crescent opinion piece by a former UW-Fox faculty member who argues that online learning is no substitute for the in-person variety, especially when it comes to diversity. Many at UW-Green Bay, of course, where e-learning is prominent, would argue that point. Prof. Angela Bauer, among others, says continuing advances in the pedagogy of online learning have resulted in a much richer learning environment than critics acknowledge.
