Picture-perfect Founders honorees

That moment in the sun enjoyed each August by winners of the Founders Association Awards for Excellence? It has just been extended to year-long recognition.

A newly created display of posters near the campus welcome center at the Student Services entrance pays tribute to current honorees. The posters feature an environmental portrait and brief biography of each award recipient. Former Chancellor Bruce Shepard suggested the display as a way to remind UW-Green Bay students and campus visitors of the outstanding work done by faculty and staff on this campus each year.

Recipients being highlighted until next September — when the 2009 posters take their place — are Maria Hinton and Prof. Cliff Abbott, Prof. Lucy Arendt, Mike Barry, Sandy Bohman, Prof. Andrew Kersten, Paul Pinkston and Cyndie Shepard and Phuture Phoenix.
