Dale on recall: Feingold, Obey could challenge Walker
The bid to recall Gov. Scott Walker just got under way, and already speculation is swirling about who might oppose him in a potential election. Assistant Prof. Tim Dale, Democracy and Justice Studies, weighed in on some possibilities for a Milwaukee Public Radio story that aired today (Nov. 17). Former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold and retired U.S. Rep. Dave Obey would be obvious choices, Dale said, given their name recognition, experience in campaigns and other factors.
