Faculty/staff note: T. Damkoehler featured in top art annual

Two illustrations by UW-Green Bay faculty member Toni Damkoehler have been selected for inclusion in the American Illustration 27 book to be released this month.

Damkoehler’s works made the final cut of 386 images selected for publication from among 7,500 entries submitted by more than 1,200 illustrators, magazines, agencies and publishers. Her two pieces are from the Tchotchke Holiday series she completed in early 2008: “Harlequin” and “The Captain.” The 400-page, hardcover annual highlights the nation’s best illustrations and is distributed as a resource for top creative directors seeking either inspiration or samples and contact information for leading artists.
