Prof. Reilly publishes article in Ms. Magazine on abortion in Wisconsin

Prof. Kimberley Reilly has published an article in Ms. Magazine titled “Abortion Rights and the ‘Quick Child’: The Misuse of History in Wisconsin’s Abortion Ban.” Reilly explains that Wisconsin’s 1849 law (now in effect) actually preserved abortion rights into the second trimester of pregnancy. The article shows that reproductive rights are more deeply entrenched in Wisconsin and the nation than generally understood.
