Faculty notes: Saxton-Ruiz
Last week, Prof. Gabriel Saxton-Ruiz (Humanistic Studies) presented a paper at the Mid-America Conference on Hispanic Literature – The Past in the Present: Revolutions, Reactions, Transgressions – at Washington University in St. Louis. Saxton-Ruiz’s paper was titled “Abril rojo de Santiago Roncagliolo: La novela negra y el contexto político peruano” (Santiago Roncagliolo’s Red April: The Noir Novel and Peruvian Politics).
