SBDC’s Kauth: Social media is fine, but don’t neglect face-to-face selling
Ryan Kauth, director of the Small Business Development Center, was featured in a recent Press-Gazette business column promoting the “Understanding Sales Prospecting” presentation as part of the Advance Partners’ Innovation Series. The program is 7:30 to 9 a.m. Oct. 30. Kauth advocates a back to basics approach for small business owners. “I see more and more marketing plans that talk more about social media than they actually talk about getting in front of someone face to face and selling,” he observes, adding that in-person presentations are still critical to effective marketing.
