Science spotlight: Dornbush profiled on professional org’s website
The American Association for the Advancement of Science this week posted a great “member spotlight” profile on Associate Prof. Mathew Dornbush, Natural and Applied Sciences. The piece highlights Dornbush’s love for all aspects of his job, looks at his research on the invasive Phragmites australis, and talks about how his interest in ecology developed early on. “I spent all my childhood outside,” Dornbush says in the article. “I think my mom was a saint for (tolerating) all the critters I brought home and kept in my basement.” The piece also talks about UW-Green Bay’s beautiful campus, and how it’s an ideal setting for Dornbush’s work.
